Meet The Team

Ben Bradford will forever hold a special place in the hearts of so many people. His mum Donna, and dad Mike, wanted to create something in the spirit of Ben’s memory and values, and while chatting with family and friends the idea for a charity was born. Naming the charity was easy, Ben’s initials BB followed by his football shirt number 14. Very quickly, the work started and on 11th December 2024, BB14 was granted charity status via OSCR, the Scottish Charity Regulator.
Our small team has huge ambitions, and we are proud of what has been achieved already. BB14 comprises, Ben’s parents Mike and Donna alongside an additional three supporting Trustees, namely Diane Allan, Ben’s auntie and treasurer, who has a background in the banking industry, Julie Jamieson, a close family friend with a real enthusiasm for all things administrative, and Donald Smith, Chairman of Cove Youth, an obvious choice given the joy football provided to Ben. Rosie Allan, who is Ben’s cousin, looks after social media, while Martin Allan, Ben’s uncle, is Chairperson, drawing on his years of project management experience within the oil and gas industry.
Although officially a modest group, we could not have managed the progress we have made without the amazing swell of wider support from relatives, friends, and members of our local and business communities which has given us the willpower and often the manpower needed to run some great events so far, with lots more to come as we strive to deliver our charity objectives and help make a difference to so many families across the local communities.
Thank you to every one of you who have and continue to support the BB14 journey. You are all part of the team! #BB14
